Amana Living is seeking an experienced and skilled Carer to join our team at Peter Arney House in Salter Point. As a Carer, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized care to residents, supporting their daily living needs and promoting independence
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support residents with medication administration and meal times
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure a harmonious working environment
- Advocate for the rights and dignity of older people
About You
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. As a Carer, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our residents and their families, making a real difference to their lives.
Essential Criteria
- Certificate III in Aged Care or relevant experience in the aged care industry
- Effective communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with residents
- Previous experience administering medications
- Valid Police Clearance and NDIS Screen Check
- Current Flu and Covid Vaccinations
