About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) qualification and significant managerial experience. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and insightful financial performance reports. Additionally, you will drive the annual budgeting process, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Furthermore, you will monitor and manage cash flow, optimize inventory and accounts payable, and maintain banking relationships. Finally, you will lead and support the finance team, review outputs, and oversee daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves several key responsibilities, including:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, financial statements, and insightful financial performance reports;
- Driving the annual budgeting process, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions;
- Monitoring and managing cash flow, optimizing inventory and accounts payable, and maintaining banking relationships;
- Coordinating external audits and ensuring tax compliance with timely submissions;
- Leading and supporting the finance team, reviewing outputs, and overseeing daily financial operations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a CA(SA) qualification and significant managerial experience. You must also have been in a Financial Manager role currently or previously.
