About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Booking Clerk. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless hospital booking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process hospital requests on our NIMS system.
- Verify nursing staff availability and ensure compliance with our guidelines.
- Nominate suitable nursing staff on the NIMS system.
- Monitor the NIMS system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Review E-register data to confirm nursing staff qualifications and active status.
- Update NIMS system with new nursing staff details if necessary.
- Verify nominated staff members' availability before nomination.
Requirements
- Matric qualification is a must.
- Tertiary qualification advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in locum recruitment an asset.
- Experience in medical placements preferred.
- Familiarity with the Nursing Information Management System (NIMS) required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Established customer relationships crucial.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building and organizational skills.
- Honesty and strong work ethic a must.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Motivated and self-driven individual with a proven track record in sales.
- Strong teamwork and analytical thinking skills required.
Working Hours
