About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Booking Clerk. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless hospital booking operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive and process hospital requests on our NIMS system.
  2. Verify nursing staff availability and ensure compliance with our guidelines.
  3. Nominate suitable nursing staff on the NIMS system.
  4. Monitor the NIMS system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  5. Review E-register data to confirm nursing staff qualifications and active status.
  6. Update NIMS system with new nursing staff details if necessary.
  7. Verify nominated staff members' availability before nomination.

Requirements

  1. Matric qualification is a must.
  2. Tertiary qualification advantageous but not essential.
  3. Previous experience in locum recruitment an asset.
  4. Experience in medical placements preferred.
  5. Familiarity with the Nursing Information Management System (NIMS) required.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  7. Established customer relationships crucial.
  8. Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  9. Own vehicle and valid driver's license advantageous.
  10. Strong relationship-building and organizational skills.
  11. Honesty and strong work ethic a must.
  12. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  13. Motivated and self-driven individual with a proven track record in sales.
  14. Strong teamwork and analytical thinking skills required.

Working Hours

Candidates may be required to work shifts or varying hours.
