The Professional Assignments Team seeks a skilled Financial Compliance Expert to oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide timely financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile creditors for all entities to ensure accuracy and prevent errors
  • Maintain cashbooks and bank reconciliations to prevent discrepancies and ensure timely payments
  • Collaborate with finance managers to review new deals and load them on Mari by debtors clerk
  • Raise intercompany invoices once calculations have been completed by finance managers
  • Monitor daily bank balances to identify any anomalies or irregularities
  • Ensure timely VAT payments and manage VAT obligations
  • Loading all payments including tax payments on Nedbank to maintain accurate records
  • Run and complete various reports to inform business decisions
  • Capture receipts to ensure seamless payment processing
  • Manage withholding tax obligations and rates
  • Oversee prepayment schedule management to minimize risk
  • Perform adhoc tasks as required to support the team
Requirements

Candidates must possess relevant accounting qualifications and experience in duties such as creditors reconciliations, cashbook maintenance, and VAT management.
