At Profinsa (Pty) Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for the full payroll administration of our clients' employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process client payroll on a monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly basis using SAGE VIP.
  • Maintain accurate payroll processing records and gather necessary data from clients and management.
  • Assist clients with payroll administrative matters and monthly submissions.
  • Process employee expenses within monthly salaries/wages.
  • Administer employee loans and other ad hoc expenses.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure accurate information for payment.
  • Compute employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes.
  • Prepare payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial review.
  • Distribute salaries/wages for direct transfers to employee bank accounts and payslips.
  • Determine organisation's tax obligations by calculating taxes, statutory deductions, union payments, and 3rd parties.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping sensitive information secure.
  • Perform all payroll accounting activities and reconciliations.
  • Submit SARS EMP and UIF declarations, as well as EMP501 reconciliations and IRP5 reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • HR or Payroll Diploma/5 years' experience in an HR/Payroll function.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Minimum 1 year SAGE VIP experience with processing and full payroll functions.
  • Full understanding of BCEA and Labour Legislation.
  • Ability to think logically and perform duties under tight deadlines.
