Job Title: Control Room Operator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Control Room Operator to join our team. As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 camera- and alarm surveillance on sites, tracking, mobile tracking, call centre, incident management, and operational support for critical services that support the operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track alarms and cameras according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Communicate with operational personnel to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Monitor movement on CCTV cameras for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Identify priority issues and escalate them to management if needed.
  • Monitor, manage, and control operational systems.
Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4).
  • PSIRA registered (minimum Grade C).
  • Computer literate.
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Technical background of cameras and alarm systems will be highly beneficial.
Working Conditions:

The Control Room Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
