Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team at SPARK Riversands Primary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students in the Foundation Phase.

  • Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, and to provide feedback to students and parents.

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to cater to the diverse needs of students.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide mathematics initiatives.

  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGCE) or Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Mathematics.

  • South African Council of Educators (SACE) registration.

  • English language fluency.

  • A clear criminal record.
