About this Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that values precision and efficiency in all aspects of its business. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage financial data across multiple businesses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  2. Create weekly financial reports, such as cash flow summaries (cash in, cash out), and prepare monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.

  3. Manage bills and invoice payments, including sending wire transfers and following up with clients on outstanding payments.

  4. Apply knowledge of US taxes to maintain compliance and assist with preparation for tax filings.

  5. Use QuickBooks for financial management and leverage tools like Slack and Notion for communication and task organization.

Requirements:

2+ years experience as a bookkeeper, preferably managing finances for multiple businesses. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of US taxes and compliance requirements.

  2. Expertise in financial data entry, categorization, and reporting.

  3. Ability to create detailed financial reports, including cash flow summaries, P&L statements, and balance sheets.

  4. Proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable, including wire transfers and payment follow-ups.

  5. Comfortable using a VPN for secure system access.

  6. Familiarity with Slack and Notion is a plus but not required.

  7. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
