Software Developer Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to support our business in App development and maintenance. The ideal candidate should be proficient in .NET Core, C#, SQL, Test Libraries, and Front end frameworks (Angular / React Vue).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications that align with operational strategies.
  • Establish technical specifications, including productivity optimization and quality control, to meet client service standards.
  • Monitor system performance, identify and resolve problems, and prepare action plans to improve operations.
  • Follow Quality Assurance procedures to ensure high-quality results.
  • Meet financial objectives as set by the MD and CEO.
  • Prepare performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Be available on call 24/7 for operational needs.
  • Drive onboarding efficiency optimizations.
  • Take full accountability for issue handling.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Ensure records are in line with company procedure and accepted practices.
  • Complete relevant tasks of medium complexity within specified time frames.
  • Liaise with the off-site team to design and develop the company App and portal.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Write automated acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrate software to end users.
  • Raise identified risks.
  • Monitor issues and maintain quality.
  • Ensure documentation meets required standards.

Requirements
  • At least 2 – 4 years of proven relevant experience and knowledge.
  • Related degree, diploma, or certifications (Computer Science Degree is preferred).
  • Good knowledge of innovative solutions and technologies.
  • Good knowledge of Business Intelligence.
  • User interface knowledge.
  • Multi-tier software and database design.
  • Experience in Agile software development competencies.
  • Call Centre and Logistics experience is beneficial.
  • Sound verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills in English.
  • Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
