**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify loan account reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.
  • Calculate interest on loans and other financial instruments.
  • Allocate farm expenses to specific divisions for effective budgeting.
  • Manage credit cards and fuel cards to maintain financial control.
  • Review and approve payments to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Approve new suppliers on the BOSS system to maintain vendor relationships.
  • Provide general support to the Accountant and handle inquiries from stakeholders.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Hold a financial or relevant qualification, such as a degree in accounting or finance.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics and finance.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong planning and organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Be able to work effectively within a team to achieve company goals.
  • Have a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Be able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Be capable of handling high volumes of work to maintain productivity and efficiency.
