Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, developing and maintaining financial reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insights. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of complex SQL queries, manage relational databases, and troubleshoot discrepancies. Additionally, you will develop automation solutions using Python, enhance process efficiencies, and ensure compliance with data governance policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze complex financial data to identify trends and patterns
* Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using Python, MS SQL, and MySQL
* Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to deliver high-quality insights and present analytical findings
* Design and implement automation solutions using Python to improve process efficiency and ensure compliance with data governance policies
* Troubleshoot discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues efficiently

Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role with a focus on financial data analysis
* Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
* Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and relational databases (MS SQL & MySQL)
* Experience in developing and managing financial reports and dashboards
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization
* Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics
* Experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, and transformation
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:
* Relevant bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data science, computer science, or a related field
