About the Role
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit organisation providing aged care and community services in the Northern Territory. We are seeking a qualified Personal Care Worker to join our Home Care Team in Katherine, NT.
As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide care and support to clients in their homes, undertaking tasks such as cleaning, personal care, grooming, and meal assistance. You may also be required to assist with social support, transport clients to appointments, and shopping.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability, or Home and Community Care. You will also need to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to work within a culturally diverse team environment.
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in either Aged or Disability care, and be comfortable travelling to clients' homes. You will also require a reliable vehicle and insurance.
