About the Role
  • This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating how our company's offerings can meet those requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a proven track record in sales.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to installation. You will be responsible for providing detailed information on solutions offered to customers so they can prepare an accurate quotation.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
  2. Set up meetings and travel to customer premises to introduce our company and its portfolio.
  3. Conduct thorough consultations with prospective customers to understand their energy requirements and goals.
  4. Provide in-depth information on the benefits of solar power, including cost savings, environmental impact, and government incentives.
  5. Develop tailor-made solar power solutions specific to each customer's needs and budget. Collaborate with Solar Engineers/Designers as required.
  6. Present proposals to potential customers and address their questions and concerns.
  7. Employ effective closing techniques to secure signed quotations/contracts for solar installations.

You will also be responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with customers, providing post-sale support, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications
  1. Sales or Technical related Diploma / Certificate
  2. Own reliable transport
  3. Valid driver's license and license card
  4. Willing and able to travel extensively within South Africa and neighboring countries
