  • We are seeking a Renewable Energy Contract Specialist to join our team at AltGen. The ideal candidate will have expertise in contracts management, particularly in split contracts during the construction phase of renewable energy projects.
  • This role requires extensive knowledge of project finance agreements, including PPA, EPC, O&M, and Balance of Plant. The successful candidate will oversee all contractual matters, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and ensuring the successful execution of agreements.
  • The Renewable Energy Contract Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation, drafting, and execution to close-out. This includes managing main contracts and sub-contracts, maintaining a detailed record of events, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to handle multiple stakeholders, including lenders, legal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Renewable Energy experience is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the risk and opportunity matrix to ensure contract execution aligns with mitigation strategies
  • Support the development of the Project Management Plan to enhance project efficiency and compliance
  • Manage claims and counterclaims, collaborating with legal teams to protect project interests
