As a Graphic Designer at Sentinel Staffing Services, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging marketing materials, including digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, emailers, banners, and other promotional items based on internal briefs. You will also conceptualize and design in-store signage, including store windows and product graphics, for both ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) marketing elements.

Additionally, you will design seasonal catalogues to showcase products effectively, ensuring high-quality layout and presentation for both print and digital formats. You will assist the marketing team during photoshoots and events as needed, and create and manage content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

You will also develop basic animations such as GIFs and videos, including creation and editing, and design packaging, labels, and other ad hoc creative elements. You will generate fresh ideas for online and digital materials, including print materials to be shot in our in-house studio, and execute design projects according to provided briefs.

Furthermore, you will ensure all designs align with brand positioning and guidelines, and conduct weekly research on digital and in-store competitive retail trends. You will also perform image retouching to enhance visual quality, and assist with the in-house printing of marketing materials.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification or degree in Graphic Design, with 1-2 years of work experience in a corporate or agency setting. You will be skilled in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, with additional knowledge of Creative Cloud suite programs being advantageous.

You will also have experience with After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. You will have a strong understanding of digital and print design principles, including repro and layout, and a critical attention to detail.

You will be familiar with social media platforms and creating collateral for them, and up-to-date with key digital and industry trends. You will also be able to meet all material deadlines.

You will have strong conceptual skills for graphic design, and expertise in both print and web graphic design. You will also have photography skills, and knowledge in photography and videography is a plus. Copywriting skills are also advantageous.
