Job Overview

Sovereign Foods Ltd, a leading national supplier of quality chicken products, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the company's centralized Accounts Payable function.

  1. Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and supplier terms.
  2. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  3. Verify documentation for accuracy and take corrective action where necessary.
  4. Match invoices correctly to Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
  5. Process creditor's invoices accurately and efficiently.
  6. Address and resolve account queries and report any discrepancies.
  7. Reconcile and prepare remittance for supplier payments according to agreed terms.
  8. Maintain clean aged analysis of suppliers and GRN Trial balance.
  9. Update supplier details on the system regularly.
