  • Perform fittings with prototypes and adjust patterns based on feedback.
  • Make adjustments to patterns to improve the fit, shape, and style.
  • Modify patterns based on changes in design, fabric choice, or sizing.
  • Cut and sew prototype garments using the pattern to check for fit, design, and construction.
  • Analyze the prototype to identify any issues in the pattern or construction process.
  • Grade patterns to produce different sizes, ensuring consistency across size ranges.
  • Maintain accurate records of patterns, including markings, notches, grainlines, and measurements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in pattern development and garment construction.
  • Strong understanding of fabrics and their properties.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
