Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at World Wide Drill Training & Consulting.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale solar energy projects in Matjiesfontein, Western Cape. As a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure related to solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze data and reports to inform decision-making and optimize project performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer registration with ECSA.
  • At least 4 years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, infrastructure design, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
