Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Skincare Specialist to join our team in Durban. As a Skincare Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all treatments and procedures according to Dermalogica standards.

You will take ownership of monthly targets and keep abreast of daily goals and targets achieved. This includes conducting accurate and detailed consultations and Face Mapping with each new client, updating records on the POS system, and assisting consumers with retail and follow-up sales.

You will also be available for all relevant store activities, including meetings, workshops, inventory, unpacking orders, and sales promotions. Additionally, you will maintain the treatment area and other work areas in a professional manner, including stocking shelves, cleaning, and replenishing product.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Skin Care Qualification NQF Level 4 (minimum 3 years full-time)
  • The ability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends
  • A passion for retailing and a sales track record
  • Confidence in engaging with customers
  • Self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience

Prior experience as a Skincare Therapist is essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience required. A License/Certification in Skin Care Therapy is preferred.
