**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Junior Designer to join our team in Durban. As a Junior Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that effectively communicate information to our target audience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with our design team to develop innovative concepts and designs for print and digital media, including brochures, websites, social media graphics, email campaigns, and more.
  • Assist in producing high-quality designs that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Modify and revise existing designs to improve design quality and meet client requirements.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices to ensure designs are innovative and effective.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • **Administrative Tasks**
    • Maintain organized files of design assets and marketing materials.
    • Assist with general tasks as needed and perform other ad-hoc duties.
    • Track time and manage ongoing tasks efficiently.
    • Keep records and facilitate internal distribution and communication of promotions and events.

**Requirements**

  • Certificate or diploma in Graphic Design is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design and/or marketing.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic understanding of print and web design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
