Project Manager Role

The Project Manager at Numata is responsible for overseeing projects within our business model framework. This involves managing projects across various functions and services, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a standard approach for projects, programmes, and portfolios.
  • Initiating projects and programmes using our standard single service and client portfolio view approach.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement, including requirements, dependencies, interdependencies, roles, responsibilities, ownership, sponsorship, and escalation.
  • Planning projects and programmes with relevant stakeholders, including charter development.
  • Launching and executing projects and programmes.
  • Monitoring and controlling project and programme outcomes.
  • Managing project and programme quality requirements.
  • Managing project and programme risk.
  • Monitoring and controlling project and programme performance and associated reporting.
  • Managing project and programme resources.
  • Managing project and programme gates and controls, including documentation.
  • Managing project and programme change.
  • Closing projects and programmes and documenting learnings.
  • Managing project and programme reporting, documents, and records in a central repository.

Qualifications and Certification

  • A tertiary degree or comparative qualification completed or in progress.
  • Sufficient knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, and Prince2.
  • Project management training or certification, such as Project Management Professional (Project Management Institute).

Experience

  • 1 to 5 years of experience, depending on the scope, number, and complexity of projects.
