We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team at Reddam House Ballito, a leading international school in South Africa. As a College Teacher - Scientific Expert, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of our students, inspiring them to achieve their full potential in Physical Science and Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive Physical Science and Mathematics lessons, promoting a deep understanding of complex concepts and procedures.
  • Establish a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to take risks, explore, and learn from their mistakes.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Physical Science and Mathematics, sharing your expertise with colleagues and contributing to the school's commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Physical Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on teaching and learning.
  • Proven experience in teaching Physical Science and Mathematics, with a track record of success in inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Physical Science and Mathematics.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
