Group Financial Director

Join Execustaff Recruiting Services in our search for a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to lead our financial operations.
Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to oversee the financial management of our group companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts for the group.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including annual and interim external audit and sign-off on Annual financial statements.
- Manage company tax matters in consultation with tax consultants.
- Appoint and manage SARS representatives for all group companies, ensuring compliance with all SARS-related returns.
- Review and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Develop and manage divisional budgets and forecasts, as well as consolidate group budgets and updated forecasts.
- Ensure group financial compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee the financial operations of Debtors, Creditors, Cash Book, and Payroll departments.
- Manage insurance declarations and claims, as well as fixed asset register updates and capital expenditure control.
- Ensure compliance with government statistics requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Manager or Controller.
- Above-average computer skills, with proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong integrity and honesty, with a commitment to ethical behavior.
