Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement management, with a focus in the marine shipping industry, or prior experiences in the mining or oil and gas industry is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience working in a consulting environment, with the ability to provide strategic advice and implement solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilient, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards related to marine shipping and procurement.
  • Ability to lead the project, with a results-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Experience in marine engineering will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

This role offers an estimated salary of $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and requirements for a senior procurement professional in Papua New Guinea.
