Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Persona Staff. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing debtor payments, overseeing invoice capturing, and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Debt Management: Manage debtor payments and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payment.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee invoice capturing, project code creation, and monitor client credit limits to maintain efficient financial operations.
  • Salary and Leave Administration: Handle monthly salary calculations, leave capturing, and submit EMP501 reconciliations and EMP201 returns.
  • Cashbook and Bank Reconciliations: Perform cashbook entries, bank reconciliations, and prepare monthly journals to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Management Accounts and Budget Analysis: Assist in preparing management accounts and conducting budget variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • General Bookkeeping: Support general bookkeeping administration, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • A finance or accounting degree.
  • Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Pastel.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
