Role: Nursery Room Leader
Hours: Full-time, 4 days a week, 7:30am to 6:30pm
Salary: £25,700 - £30,000 per annum
Quint Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team in Wapping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your own room, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your room, promoting good practice and setting a good example for staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and staff within your room.
- Supervise children during playtime, meal times, and other activities to ensure their safety.
- Support staff in planning engaging activities for children, following the EYFS framework.
- Take charge of your key worker group, keeping parents and other staff informed of any relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations and next steps.
- Contribute to the overall running of the nursery, assisting with supervision and management as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children from birth to 5 years.
- Hold a minimum L3 childcare qualification.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging activity plans in accordance with the EYFS.
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and parents.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic IT skills.
