- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all import activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in sea and air imports within the freight forwarding industry.
- Industry Background: Demonstrated experience working with mid to large-sized organizations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CargoWise software is essential.
- Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of start-to-end forwarding processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve complex logistical issues.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling documentation and compliance matters.
Salary Package: An attractive salary package of R50K - R65K monthly.
