Job Title: Water Treatment Operations Manager
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our water treatment plants.
Job Responsibilities:- Plant Supervision: Oversee and manage the respective Plant Supervisor(s) and Production and Maintenance teams within the area of responsibility.
- Team Management: Manage the utilization and performance/output of the production and maintenance teams.
- Compliance: Ensure that plant performance complies with contractual quality and quantity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Safety: Adhere to company and client safety standards, and take accountability for safety performance in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) legal requirements.
- Administration: Maintain effective administration and control procedures to meet performance objectives, including financial control, human resources and industrial relations, procurement, and stock management.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
- Financial Management: Implement and maintain financial control with Profit and Loss accountability for the plant(s).
- Reporting: Monitor and maintain detailed records and reports on all aspects of processes and ongoing projects.
- Resource Management: Ensure efficient resource management of employees to meet performance objectives.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by delivering professional and high-quality service.
- Communication: Conduct client feedback meetings and reporting as required, and compile plant reports as necessary.
- Plant Health: Monitor plant health and proactively intervene to optimize plant availability.
- Reporting: Provide effective reporting to the Operations Manager of the area.
- Operational Duties: Perform plant operational standby duties.
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering or BTech in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in advanced water treatment.
- Skills: Experience with reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, precipitation, and clarification will be an advantage.
- Management Skills: Previous experience in managing staff is beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Planning and Troubleshooting Skills: Skills in planning, attention to detail, and process troubleshooting.
- Behavioral Skills: Ethical and responsible behavior, innovative and accountable.
