We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable products to meet their requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to build trust and loyalty
- Communicate product information and technical concepts effectively to both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of product solutions
- Identify new opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to capture them
- Provide regular sales reports to the management team and contribute to the development of sales forecasts
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform product development and sales strategies
Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus relevant degree or diploma
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Technical Sales environment
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel regularly (4 km's) and spend extended periods away from home (5+ nights per month)
