About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Special Events Coordinator to join our team at Exceed Human Resource Consultants Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning and coordination, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event plans, incorporating all aspects of the event, from logistics to catering and entertainment.
- Coordinate with clients to gather detailed information about their event needs, preferences, and timelines.
- Work closely with vendors to select and book the best options for each event, ensuring seamless execution on the event day.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring their expectations are met.
- Manage event schedules, ensuring all aspects are on track and within the agreed-upon timeline.
- Assist clients with event layouts, room setups, and any special requirements, ensuring everything is prepared to their satisfaction.
- Evaluate compliance with health, safety, and insurance regulations for all events.
- Resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during events to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate post-event billing and feedback collection for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in weddings and corporate events.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage client relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes or requests.
- Proficient in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
