Job SummaryThe Assistant Principal will play a key role in driving student achievement and instructional excellence at our schools. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong leader with a passion for education and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Instructional Leadership: Provide coaching and support to teachers to ensure they have the skills and resources they need to deliver high-quality instruction.
- Curriculum Implementation: Work with teachers to implement our rigorous curriculum, which aligns to and extends the South African national curriculum.
- Assessment and Data Analysis: Facilitate an assessment and data analysis cycle that allows instructional staff to analyze student performance and identify areas for targeted instruction.
- Staff Development: Participate in the selection of new school-based personnel and provide support and mentorship to instructional staff.
- Disciplinary Policies: Implement disciplinary policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Qualifications: A completed or PGCE degree, SACE registration, and a clear criminal record.
- Experience: At least 2 years of excellent classroom instruction, previous experience managing or working with primary school-aged children, and experience leading a team.
- Skills and Mindset: A strong desire to be part of a vibrant and dynamic technology-driven work environment, a collaborative and team-spirited mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality transformational education.
- Competitive Salary: R26,000 per month.
