Lexdan Select is assisting a leading Manufacturing business with their search for a Senior Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law and a proven track record in contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements to ensure the company's interests are protected.
  2. Provide regulatory compliance advice to internal divisions and ensure the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Advise internal stakeholders on relevant areas of law and provide guidance on commercial transactions.
  4. Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and partners, to ensure smooth business operations.
  5. Liaise with external counsel to ensure the company's legal interests are represented.

Requirements

  1. LLB degree from a reputable university.
  2. Minimum 4 years post-articles experience in a commercial team within a law firm or in an in-house role focusing on contracts and commercial work.
