Job Title: Travel Call Centre Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Travel Call Centre Agent to join our team at WNS Global Services. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving customer inquiries, and providing support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-class customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize your knowledge of the travel industry to provide expert advice and guidance to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible service.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, ensuring you have the latest knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in the travel, tourism, or customer service industry.
  • Native Sabre GDS training system.
  • High proficiency in verbal and written English and/or another South African language.
  • Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry, with basic knowledge of fares and ticketing and intermediate knowledge of a GDS.
  • Exceptional administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage work flow, analyze and validate information, and resolve conflict situations amicably.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12-24 months of relevant working experience in a similar role, within a multi-channel customer service/contact centre environment.
  • Prior customer service and/or sales experience.
