  1. Customer Relationship Development: Establish and nurture connections with allocated customers to develop new relationships, build rapport, and ensure positive customer experiences at all times.
  2. Customer Management (External): Effectively manage inbound and outbound contacts from start to finish with customers, regardless of the data distribution channel. Assist in managing clients by performing standard activities and delivering efficient customer service levels through effective call management.
  3. Needs Assessment and Clarification: Understand customers' unique profiles, identify relevant courses of action based on customer needs, and undertake appropriate actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Selling Customer Propositions: Identify products or services that best meet customers' stated needs, explain selections to customers, and invite them to make purchases at standard prices/terms and conditions of sale.
  5. Performance and Time Management: Prioritize own workflow and achieve operational requirements and service delivery through effective time and attendance management.
  6. CRM Data Entry and Follow-up: Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the customer relationship management system after each contact with a customer to create a call plan.
  7. Operational Compliance and Knowledge: Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and regulatory codes relevant to own work.
  8. Personal Capability Building and Development: Participate in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching to develop own capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • MATRIC / GRADE 12/ SAQA ACCREDITED EQUIVALENT (ESSENTIAL)
  • REGULATORY EXAM 5 (ADVANTAGEOUS)
  • 1 TO 2 YEARS INBOUND, OUTBOUND, AND COLD-CALLING SALES EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY (ESSENTIAL)
  • CONTACT CENTRE EXPERIENCE (ESSENTIAL)
  • KNOWLEDGE OF SHORT TERM OR LONG TERM INSURANCE INDUSTRY (ESSENTIAL)
