The ideal candidate will have experience in field service work and possess knowledge of Cummins products. Additionally, they should be willing to work shifts and overtime based on operational requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and completing less complex repairs accurately, minimizing downtime for customers.
  • Coaching customer employees on preventative maintenance and basic repairs to enhance their skills and reduce the likelihood of future issues.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors to ensure complex problems are addressed promptly.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HSE Compliance: Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Uptime and Troubleshooting: Maintain high engine availability by monitoring metrics like Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Service QuickServe Process Adherence: Follow the QuickServe process for repairs and services using Cummins Standard Tools as defined on QuickServe Online (QSOL).
