Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced Unit Manager to join our team at Headhunters. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for achieving production requirements, managing variances, and optimizing equipment efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving production requirements against targets through effective planning and execution.
  • Maintaining adherence to the Production plan, MPS (Master Production Schedule), and Planned maintenance protocols.
  • Managing Liquor and Material variances during production to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Optimizing Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and compiling Opex / Capex budgets for approval.
  • Ensuring product quality and efficient Asset utilization while driving revenue and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintaining adherence to Internal Control Checks (ICC) and Mini-business Operating System standards within the Production department.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience in production management.
  • Completion of a packaging traineeship or packaging diploma with knowledge of supply chain packaging and bottling environments.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of production experience with strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy in MS Office, specifically MS Excel on an intermediate level.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and develop comprehensive solutions.
