Clerk - Transfers and Benefits Administration

The Financial Services Transfer Coordinator will be responsible for processing transfers of benefits, preparing documents, and liaising with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, strong communication skills, and knowledge of pension fund regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process ROT and Section 14 transfers of benefits in and out of the Fund
- Prepare Section 14 documents for submission to Actuaries
- Liaise with FSCA, Fund Administrator, Financial Advisors, Employers, and Consultants
- Calculate transfer, surplus, and withdrawal benefits
- Draft 'agterskot' transfers
- Estimate benefits
- Balance funds in and out
- Add payments on cashbooks
- Run and finalise cashbooks
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Maths/Accounting
- Good arithmetic and basic accounting skills
- Good attendance and reliability
- Basic work experience required: minimum 3 years claim processing experience
- PC skills, Excel, Word, and letter writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of Pension Fund Act
- Understanding of Fund rules
