We are a leading FMCG company in South Africa, committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality HR services, and we are looking for a talented Senior HR Manager to join us.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent, managing the onboarding and orientation process for new employees, and promoting a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality HR services, a strong understanding of employment legislation and best practices, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent;
- Coordinating and conducting interviews, assessments, and selection processes;
- Managing the onboarding and orientation process for new employees;
- Serving as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues;
- Addressing employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner;
- Promoting a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution;
- Developing and implementing performance management systems and processes;
- Providing guidance and support to managers on setting performance goals and conducting performance reviews;
- Identifying opportunities for employee development and career advancement;
- Identifying training needs and developing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge;
- Coordinating employee development initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and online learning opportunities;
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practices;
- Preparing and filing reports required by regulatory agencies;
- Promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization;
- Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale;
- Organizing company events, activities, and initiatives to foster a sense of community and teamwork;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- 20 years of progressive experience in human resources management;
- FMCG sector experience is non-negotiable.
