Senior Ruby Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby Developer to join our team at OfferZen, a leading developer jobs marketplace. As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our platform, working closely with our team of experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient Ruby on Rails applications
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Work closely with our frontend team to integrate user-facing elements
  • Develop and maintain RESTful API services and microservices architecture

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Ruby developer
  • At least 2 years of experience with Rails
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
