Ruby Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby Developer to join our team at OfferZen. As a Ruby Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the Ruby programming language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software applications using Ruby on Rails
  • Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements
  • Develop and support software, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
  • Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Optimize application performance and scalability

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Ruby developer
  • 2+ years of experience with Rails
  • Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services
  • Experience working in an English-speaking environment

Desirable Skills

  • Basic understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
