Job Overview

At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee the seamless coordination of our supply chain operations. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Reconciliation:
  • Ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing stock, verifying stock levels and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Transport Coordination:
  • Manage logistics for transport between farms, warehouses, and container stacks, monitoring load control for transport vehicles whether in-house or subcontracted.
  • Warehouse Operations:
  • Coordinate offloading and storage operations at the warehouse, optimizing space usage and maintaining inventory organization.
  • Customer and Vendor Liaison:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and timely updates, collaborating with shipping vendors to source containers, manage loading, and coordinate transport schedules.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Manage internal and external data reporting for the full supply chain, maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Data Management Proficiency: Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock reconciliation and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Logistics Principles: Knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, and supply chain principles.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
  • Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
