Electrical Foreman Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of electrical personnel
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment
  • Maintaining high safety standards and adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair activities
  • Developing and implementing electrical maintenance plans

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • GMR 2.1 certificate (advantageous)
  • GCC (Government Certificate of Competency)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Food FMCG sector
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and maintenance practices
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment
  • Experience with PLCs, HVAC systems, and automated production lines
