Job Title: Financial Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Clerk to join our dynamic team at People Dimension. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer and supplier functions for all companies in the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare creditor payment requests and reconcile to be submitted to the CFO.
  • Mark supplier payments/client receipts on the internal company system.
  • Process reconciliations against suppliers' statements.
  • Capture administrative supplier invoices onto Quickbooks.
  • Review production supplier invoices for accuracy/completeness.
  • Resolve supplier queries and allocate payments on Quickbooks.
  • Collect outstanding debts from customers.
  • Allocate receipts in Quickbooks and resolve customer queries.
Requirements:
  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Diploma in Bookkeeping or similar
  • Minimum two (2) years of full function Creditors and Debtors experience
  • MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working experience in Quickbooks will be advantageous
Attributes:
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles
  • Proficiency in English
  • Intermediate level of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Presentable with strong Interpersonal communication and listening skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Deadline driven
  • Able to work independently, with a high degree of responsibility
  • Logical thinker
