The Supply Chain Professional will be responsible for managing our supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Analyzing market trends and supplier performance to optimize our supply chain.
  2. Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
  3. Developing and implementing procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  4. Qualifying new suppliers through rigorous evaluation processes.
  5. Managing our Active Supplier List (ASL) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Coordinating logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  7. Serving as a liaison between suppliers, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
  8. Monitoring and reporting on key supply chain metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or purchasing roles.
  • Knowledge of National Treasury Regulations and industry standards.
  • Senior Technical Buyer experience in an industrial/mining/engineering context.
  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
