The Role:
- Drive revenue growth by leading efforts to secure strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and exhibition opportunities in the gaming industry.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy, ensuring successful execution and expansion of gaming events.
- Identify and research potential partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic collaborators in the global gaming ecosystem.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across gaming publishers, developers, hardware brands, and esports organizations.
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals emphasizing benefits such as audience engagement, brand visibility, and lead generation within the gaming community.
- Ensure seamless execution of sponsorship agreements and activations to deliver maximum ROI for partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and PR teams to align sponsorship initiatives with broader event strategies and branding efforts.
- Represent the organization at gaming industry events, conferences, and esports tournaments to build relationships and strengthen the event's reputation.
- Monitor market trends in gaming, esports, and interactive entertainment to identify emerging opportunities for partnerships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sponsorship sales, exhibition space selling, or commercial strategy in the gaming, esports, or interactive entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of securing sponsorships for international gaming events or expos.
- Experience working on ambitious revenue targets in a competitive, global market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders in the gaming, esports, and tech industries.
- Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for gaming, esports, and interactive entertainment is highly desirable.
