Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Opencast Blasting Specialist to join our team at Bilnor Labour. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of blasting operations.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Drilling area planning and handovers
  • Blast scheduling
  • Ordering of explosives
  • Shift rosters and personnel management
  • Blast reports and legal compliance
  • Contractor packs and work permits

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Competent Person
  • Electronic blasting certification (AECI - INTELLISHOT) and experience
  • Pyrotechnic blasting experience
  • Planning and detailed execution of plans
  • Multi-tasking
  • Problem solving
  • Safety driven
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
