**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at First Degree Recruitment in the Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elevate dealership profitability by ensuring optimal parts inventory levels and efficient stock management processes.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to minimize costs and maximize revenue.
  • Train and manage a skilled team of inventory control specialists to support the success of our dealership.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track inventory levels, sales performance, and supplier interactions.
  • Promote a culture of excellence within the dealership by fostering a positive work environment and encouraging continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an Automotive Inventory Control Specialist or Parts Manager in a vehicle dealership setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing inventory control systems, including ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing parts.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions to drive business growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
  • Valid SA Driver's license and clear criminal record.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
