Main Purpose:
  • To provide accurate financial reporting and compliance to internal controls, recording and reporting to ensure controls are maintained in specific finance related functions/procedures relating to stock management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration.
  • The role is based at our Springs Depot but will be responsible for Springs and Bloemfontein Depot operations.

Job Objectives:

  • To support asset management and prevent theft through the implementation and reporting of stock management controls.
  • To process transactions relating to all debtors, creditors, payroll and cash book to prevent misappropriation of company funds.
  • To ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial information through:
    • Stock variance reports, open payables and debtors age analysis.
    • Maintain accurate data management on GP and other systems.
    • Preparing month end accruals.
    • Balancing intercompany loan accounts.
  • Drive cost management improvements through participation in Invocoms, guidance in terms of waste management and cost savings opportunities.
  • Track and report waste and conversation per site against corporate guidelines.
  • Assist Site Accountant to manage outsourced labour costs in line with budget targets.
