About the Role

Abroad Work is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference Coordinator to plan and execute various events from start to finish.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a professional who can effectively plan, coordinate, and manage events, taking into consideration requirements, target audiences, and objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to enhance event success.

  • This role involves managing all aspects of event planning, including preparing budgets, sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers, hiring personnel (DJs, waiters, etc.), coordinating operations, and leading promotional activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for approving all aspects of the event before the day of the event.

  • To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals. A keen eye for detail, coupled with exceptional time management skills, is also essential for ensuring that events are delivered on time and within budget.
