Procurement Strategist

The Junior Sourcing Specialist role is a key position within our procurement team, responsible for supporting the implementation of all procurement procedures, policy documents, and governance frameworks to fulfill the Procurement mandate. This includes executing the tender process and negotiating with existing and potential suppliers/vendors to establish contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Process Execution: Execute the tender process to source goods and services from suppliers/vendors.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers/vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Business Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement objectives and requirements.
• Reporting and Analysis: Provide monthly reporting on AF procurement spend on a category level, including category management, sourcing, and contracting activities.

Requirements:

• Education: Relevant Business degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent Procurement-related certificate/diploma.
• Experience: 3 years experience in Supply Chain/Procurement departments and/or transformation teams.
• Skills: Proven work experience/knowledge of Procurement management processes & best practices, MS Office Advanced User, Knowledge and experience of Oracle P2P systems.
